Cost Accountant

We are seeking a
hands-on pro-active Accountant with accounting experience in cost and a
manufacturing to join our financial department. Reports to the lead financial
function in the company.
Responsibilities
include:
The job involves
Cost accounting and general accounting responsibilities.
Requirements:
- Assist in
the preparation of year end and interim financial statements
- Assist with
the development and implementation of policies and procedures
- Assist with
preparation of business plan
- Assist with
preparation of business forecasts
- Prepare
monthly journal entries and enter into the MRP system.
- Analysis of
balance sheet accounts to ensure that they agree to sub-ledgers/worksheets
- Tag new
fixed assets when received and input information into fixed asset software
- Analyze
/ edit reports generated from direct labor reporting system to ensure that
information has been input properly.
- Assist in
preparing customer quotes
- Any other
tasks required by management
- 5 Years
general accounting experience
- Must have
experience with a manufacturing company
- Cost
accounting a big plus
- Mas 90
experience a plus
- College
Degree, preferably Accounting major
- Candidates
Must be USA Citizens
