Rockleigh, New Jersey - Elcom Technologies, Inc. a global designer and      manufacturer of a wide range of RF solutions for the defense and commercial market announced the appointment of Jim Davis as Chief Executive Officer reporting to the Board of Directors. Jim’s primary charter is to exploit Elcom’s early success derived from their modular RF - Digital architecture and industry leading synthesizer technology. Uri Yaniv, will continue his role as CTO and Chairman of the Board.  “With Jim’s test and measurement background in microelectronics and aerospace defense I am confident he will accelerate Elcom’s transition from a RF oscillator and synthesizer company into an instrument and subsystems solutions provider,” said Uri Yaniv, founder of the company. Jim began his career at Hewlett Packard (Agilent) in sales and marketing, followed by executive management positions at Schlumberger Technologies. Most recently Jim led the successful transition of an electromagnetic components company into an engineered solutions provider. Jim holds a BS from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
