PSEUDO RANDOM PATTERN GENERATOR

PRPG-192 Series generates pseudo-random sequences which are used for design verification of SONET/SDH devices such as clock recovery modules, amplifiers, filters and O/E, E/O converters.

 

The unit offers a cost effective solution for production and field testing by generating only the most common polynomial (2 31-1, 2 23-1 ), compared with a full BER test set.  Its small size and low power consumption design is based on the latest MMIC technology and a proprietary algorithm.  PRPG-192 also integrates a low phase noise synthesizer for clock functions and provides for amplitude and phase adjustments of output data signals
